Luveris Uses & Indications:
Luveris, an LH hormone injection, is used alongside other hormone drugs FSH and hCG to help women suffering from infertility to conceive. The combination of LH and FSH hormones encourages healthy egg development ovulation of mature eggs. Luveris is only effective in women who’s ovaries still produce eggs. The medication should not be used in women who have ovarian failure or who are post menopause.
Luveris Side Effects:
Common Luveris side effects include: Redness/pain at the injection site, headache, tiredness, or mild nausea.
Serious Luveris side effects that need medical attention include: Weakness on one side of the body, slurred speech, vision changes, sudden/severe headache, pain/swelling of the calf muscles, chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling of ankles/hands/feet or signs of OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome)
